How Direct Billing Works

Three simple steps — most patients never touch a claim form.

1. Bring Your Insurance Card

At your first visit, share your insurance details (provider and member ID). For MVA claims bring your claim number and collision date; for WCB bring your claim number.

2. We Verify & Bill Directly

Our front desk submits your claim straight to your insurer at checkout — no forms to mail, no waiting for reimbursement.

3. Pay Only the Difference

If your plan covers a percentage, you pay only the remaining balance. Many patients pay nothing out of pocket at all.

Extended Health Plans

We direct bill most major Canadian insurers for physiotherapy, massage therapy, chiropractic, acupuncture, and psychology services.

MVA — Section B Auto Insurance

After a car accident in Alberta, your treatment is covered under Section B benefits regardless of fault. We bill your auto insurer directly and complete all required forms.

WCB Alberta

Approved workplace injury claims are billed straight to WCB Alberta — your rehabilitation costs you nothing out of pocket.

Before Your Visit: Coverage Tips

  • Check how much your plan covers per visit and per year for each service type.
  • Ask whether your plan requires a doctor's referral for reimbursement — some do, even though Alberta doesn't.
  • Massage therapy services are subject to GST, which is added to the service cost.
  • Couples and families: benefits often coordinate between two plans — bring both cards and we'll maximize your coverage.
  • If your insurer doesn't accept direct billing, we provide a detailed receipt you can submit for reimbursement.
