What water physics does for rehab
Buoyancy unloads. Standing chest-deep removes the majority of your effective body weight from your joints. Movements that are impossible on land — walking without a limp, squatting without pain — suddenly become available, which means training can start earlier and progress faster.
Resistance builds. Water resists movement in every direction, proportional to effort. Push harder, it pushes back harder — a naturally self-limiting strength stimulus with essentially no impact.
